Software Engineer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Develop, code/configure, test programs/systems and solutions problems in order to meet defined digital product specifications and direction; develop robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business; help design and build scalable software solutions, make critical technical design choices, implement and integrate new technologies, manage and evolve existing platforms; design and implement scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimization programs to deliver data driven decisions that result in immense business impact; assess a well-defined problem and lead the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards; participate in peer code reviews; contribute to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools to enable both prediction and optimization model development; solve machine learning problems at scale; and develop products focused primarily on consumer data that meets global expectations of security, reliability, and performance; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or an engineer-related occupation. Experience must include:
Data Engineering, Data Platform, and Analytics solutions using Databricks or Snowflake.
Source-to-Pay and Procurement platforms such as Coupa
Business rules management, workflow automation, and business process orchestration using enterprise BPM platforms such as Pega.
Finance procure-to-pay (P2P) business processes, including sourcing, purchasing, invoicing, and vendor management.
Design and implementation of integrations between SAP ERP and finance-related SaaS solutions using APIs and middleware technologies.
Application integration and middleware technologies such as Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
Event streaming and messaging using Apache Kafka.
Data orchestration and flow management using Apache NiFi.
Enterprise application development using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Node.js, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and RESTful service architecture.
Cloud-native, microservice-based application development and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including API-first architecture.
Containerized application design and development using Kubernetes.
DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Git, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
Application observability, monitoring, and alerting using Splunk, SignalFx, and Amazon CloudWatch.
Managed File Transfer (MFT) using Axway.

- Experience with Kafka, NiFi, Java, Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, domain-driven design, and RESTful services.
- Experience building cloud-native microservices on AWS and using Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation, Git, Jenkins, observability tools, and Axway MFT.
