Senior Lead Software Engineer, Finance Technology
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in Finance Technology, you will lead the design, development and delivery of mission-critical applications that power Citi's global finance platforms. You will analyze complex business and system processes, mentor a team of developers and analysts, and drive technical migrations across Oracle EPM, FCCS and ARCS environments. This role sits within Citi's Technology Team, giving you the opportunity to shape how finance systems scale across one of the world's leading financial institutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of enterprise finance technology applications, integrating new functions and deploying solutions that support platforms such as Oracle EPM, FCCS and ARCS.
Analyze complex business and system processes to design solutions for high-level technology challenges.
Plan and manage assignments spanning large budgets and multiple cross-functional projects as a Senior Lead Software Engineer.
Define application standards covering design, coding, testing, debugging and implementation to guide consistent delivery.
Lead technical migrations to new platforms, applying architecture principles to strengthen system stability.
Consult with end users to translate business requirements into clear system specifications and functional designs.
Mentor developers and analysts, allocating work and guiding team members across the applications development function.
Assess risk in every technology decision, applying sound judgment to protect Citi, its clients and its systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of experience in applications development, systems analysis and software implementation.
People management experience, with demonstrated leadership, project management and relationship-building skills.
Background in the finance industry, with subject matter expertise in applications development and client core business functions.
Hands-on expertise with Oracle EPM, including FCCS, ARCS, EDMS and EPR platforms, gained through managing technical migrations to new systems.
Python or Java full-stack development skills, combined with Pyspark experience and a working knowledge of architecture principles and data analysis.
Experience applying AI enablement approaches within technology solutions.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$156,160.00 - $234,240.00

- Experience applying AI enablement approaches in technology solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a related master’s degree is preferred.
