Description
Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will be assisting with daily responsibilities.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
Seven (7) years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes.
Seven (7) years experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language
May substitute two (2) years of experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science
May substitute four (4) years of additional DSP experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline in DSP algorithms from an accredited college or university is required
Required Skills:
C++/Linux/Python/DSP Algorithms
Design and implement DSP algorithms in software, with a focus on high-throughput exploitation of signals, low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations
Conduct necessary modifications to existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs
Provide concise explanation of developed models to allow other team members to understand/utilize models or algorithms for processing signals of interest

Benefits
Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)

Responsibilities
- Design and implement DSP algorithms for high-throughput signal exploitation and challenging signal conditions.
- Modify existing software and firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to government needs.
- Explain developed models to teammates so they can understand and use signal-processing algorithms.
Qualifications
- Seven years of experience as a DSP algorithm developer on projects using similar software processes.
- Seven years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development languages.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related DSP discipline; qualifying experience or a master's degree may substitute as specified.
- Current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with favorable polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship.
