Software Engineers | San Francisco | Hybrid (3 days per week)

Aspiron has partnered with a fast-growing, series A Cybersecurity firm in San Francisco. They work to give security teams both visibility and confidence when working on large AI initiatives and roll outs.
Having just received their series A funding off the back of persistent growth, they're now hiring a range of software engineers from mid-level to staff.
What you'll be doing:
Building the backend services and APIs at the heart of the platform
Integrating with the biggest enterprise AI platforms and staying ahead as they evolve
Turning huge volumes of activity data into clear, prioritised insight customers can act on
Building in-house agents and LLM workflows, and pushing what's possible with them
Owning architecture, reliability and scale as the business takes off
Working side by side with the founders, product and design, with a direct line to customers - functional skills needed
What they're looking for
Strong backend and platform engineering fundamentals
Experience with some of Python, Node.js, Postgres and Azure (they're language agnostic, and full-stack is a bonus)
Genuine AI-nativeness: you ship through automated review and CI/CD, not just prompt Claude, Codex or Cursor
A real curiosity for agents, whether you've built them at work or played around with them in your spare time
Start-up experience and a hunger for ownership, pace and impact
A customer-first mindset: when something breaks for a customer, you want to be the one who fixes it so strong functional skills
You don't need to have a background in cybersecurity for this role, albeit it does help.
The roles they're hiring for:
Software Engineer - $170 - $190k + equity
Senior Engineers - $200 - $225k + equity
Staff Engineers - $230 - $250k + equity
