For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer, Ingestion Platform to join the team of a leader in the Media space.
This role will focus on building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers data movement for ML and analytics use cases. You will partner with engineering and data stakeholders to improve batch and streaming workflows, strengthen reliability, and enable a more scalable self-service experience across the organization. The work will span core platform development, automation, and operational support in a high-volume environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $164,200 – $229,900 annually
Responsibilities
Refine and maintain data infrastructure for ML and analytics workflows
Own and optimize the data movement platform for batch and stream processing
Develop new infrastructure solutions for Spark, Flink, and Airflow technologies
Automate processes to create a self-service data experience for users
Share on-call responsibilities and support system monitoring to enhance reliability and scalability
Qualifications
2+ years of software engineering experience in a production environment
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Scala, Go, or Java
Experience designing and implementing large-scale systems with proactive project management skills
Familiarity with cloud services, Airflow, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Spark, and Flink
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a team setting
