Staff Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will drive the design and delivery of AI-native software solutions, with a strong emphasis on full-stack ownership and thoughtful technical strategy. You will partner closely with product teams to translate business goals into technical initiatives that improve the developer experience and strengthen platform capabilities. The position also calls for a hands-on engineer who can elevate observability, monitoring, and engineering quality across services.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $195,500 – $244,500 annually
Responsibilities
Build AI-native solutions from the ground up
Own and evolve the technical strategy within your domain
Invent and design new developer interfaces for software delivery
Develop features end-to-end, ensuring comprehensive full-stack ownership
Translate business objectives into technical initiatives in collaboration with product teams
Drive observability and monitoring strategies across services using industry tools
Mentor junior engineers and create documentation to distribute knowledge effectively
Qualifications
8+ years of production full-stack experience with a strong accountability record
Proficient in React and TypeScript for front-end development and Go for back-end development
Experience in system design for cross-domain architectures
Strong understanding of business goals to inform technical strategies
Daily use of AI tools with a clear understanding of their implications in engineering practices
Proven ability to mentor engineers and elevate team technical quality
