Front End Software Engineer, Consumer Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Front End Software Engineer, Consumer Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Media space.
This role will focus on building and refining user-facing experiences that support a high-traffic digital platform. You will partner closely with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to deliver technical solutions that improve product performance and user experience. The position also involves leading major initiatives from design through rollout, while helping shape engineering standards and team execution.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $164,200 – $229,900 annually
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Engineering teams to develop technical solutions
Lead the full software lifecycle for major initiatives from design to rollout
Design and evaluate A/B experiments to inform engineering decisions
Build scalable APIs and backend services focused on performance
Establish engineering best practices and mentor teammates
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on backend development experience in high-concurrency environments
Proficiency in front-end languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or ES6
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
Familiarity with modern AI-assisted engineering tools
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
