For our client, we are seeking a Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This role will focus on developing and improving analytic solutions that support mission-driven customer needs in a highly technical and security-sensitive environment. You will work with diverse data sources to create unified operational views, apply statistical and machine learning methods, and help improve model performance through disciplined testing and analysis. The position also partners closely with technical and operational stakeholders to deliver reliable insights and data-driven solutions.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $135,000 – $170,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead the design of analytic solutions tailored to customer specifications
Enhance and maintain existing analytic solutions to improve performance
Integrate diverse data sources to form a unified operational picture
Execute statistical analyses to evaluate algorithm performance
Generate training and test data sets to support algorithm enhancement efforts
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance or CBP/DHS suitability
Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
3+ years of experience in machine learning focused on time series and/or geospatial data
Proficiency with database systems such as PostgreSQL and data processing workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
