For our client, we are seeking a Applied AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will focus on helping customers identify high-value AI opportunities and turning those ideas into practical technical solutions.
You will partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to shape deployment strategies, prototype solutions, and drive impactful outcomes in complex, fast-moving environments.
The position also includes creating enablement materials, sharing expertise externally, and contributing thought leadership in applied AI.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $171,500 – $257,600 annually
Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery with customers to uncover AI use cases
Advise on comprehensive AI deployment strategies
Collaborate cross-functionally to create AI prototypes
Develop enablement content for stakeholders
Present at conferences and contribute to technical publications
Drive high-impact initiatives in ambiguous environments
Qualifications
Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
8+ years in AI/ML system deployment
Deep expertise in modern AI/ML techniques
Fluency with AI frameworks, including PyTorch and Kubernetes
Ability to lead research projects independently and collaboratively
Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences
