About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will serve as a strategic analytics partner across cross-functional teams, helping shape decision-making in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. You will define the metrics and frameworks that guide performance measurement, turn data into actionable strategy, and strengthen experimentation practices that inform product and business outcomes. The position also plays a key role in building reliable datasets and mentoring others on analytical best practices.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic analytics partner with cross-functional teams

Define meaningful metrics and frameworks for performance measurement

Turn data into actionable strategy by identifying patterns and opportunities

Shape experimentation approaches and evaluate initiatives rigorously

Integrate measurement practices into product and project planning

Build and maintain reliable datasets for informed decision-making

Establish best practices and mentor teams on analytic methodologies

Qualifications

7+ years of analytics experience, including influencing strategy in ambiguous environments

Strong business and product judgment to frame critical questions and analytical approaches

Experience defining metrics across domains such as Product, Growth, or Finance

Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and large dataset exploration

Experience in experimentation and statistical analysis for impact evaluation

Familiarity with modern analytics tools such as Metabase, dbt, and BigQuery

Excellent communication skills for translating analysis for diverse audiences
