For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 5 - Android to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.
This role will focus on building and evolving the company’s Android application experience, with an emphasis on scalable client architecture and high-quality user experiences. You will help define engineering standards that promote consistency, reliability, and long-term maintainability across the mobile codebase. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will influence technical direction and support the delivery of modern mobile capabilities that strengthen the overall platform.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $388,000 – $558,000 annually
Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable Android client code for the company's applications
Define best practices to maintain consistency and reliability in code
Utilize modern technologies to enhance the SDUI architecture
Write automated tests to ensure code quality and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape architecture vision
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Android development with a strong grasp of UI architecture and frameworks
Proficient in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL
Experience in building maintainable and testable codebases
Strong problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to technology solutions
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects
