Location: Stennis Space Center, Mississippi — 5 days onsite
📍 Near the Louisiana/Mississippi border
Employment: Full-Time
🇺🇸 US Citizen required — must be eligible for a Secret clearance; candidates with existing TS/SCI are welcome
🔹 About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to support data-driven solutions within a Global Defense/Maritime environment. The role will involve analyzing complex structured and unstructured data, developing predictive models, and applying machine learning and data visualization techniques to support mission-critical decisions.
🔹 Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or data mining
5+ years of experience with statistical/general-purpose programming for data analysis
Strong experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, or MATLAB
Experience working with structured and unstructured data
Experience developing predictive models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations
Experience with big data/distributed ecosystems such as Spark, Databricks, Elasticsearch, or NiFi
Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLP
Bachelor’s degree
US Citizen eligible for Secret clearance
Navy + Data Science background is a major plus! Candidates with Navy experience and hands-on Data Science expertise are especially encouraged to apply,
