Position Overview
The Software Developer will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal applications and technology platforms within a financial services environment. The role will work across software development, system integrations, DevOps, and application support while partnering with technology leadership and business users.
Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience building web applications and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Django.
Experience with React.js and TypeScript.
Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
Experience with CI/CD, Docker, GitHub, and sprint/task management.
Experience using AI-enabled development tools and modern engineering practices.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance internal applications, APIs, and software components.
Build integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems.
Test, debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance.
Support database development, cloud deployments, containerized applications, and release processes.
Apply secure coding and software development best practices.
Maintain technical and deployment documentation.
Partner with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Contribute to improvements in development workflows, tools, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure or AWS.
Financial services experience, particularly fixed income, ABS, or ABF.
