Role: AWS AI Engineer-Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX onsite (F2F client round)
Duration: Long Term Contract
looking for strong AWS-focused Forward Deployed Engineers who can work directly with enterprise customers to turn ambiguous business problems into working, production-ready AI solutions.
We’re looking for engineers who can operate at the intersection of customer discovery, architecture, rapid prototyping, and hands-on delivery.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Amazon Bedrock
- Experience building GenAI / Agentic AI solutions, including RAG, multi-agent workflows, tool calling, and enterprise AI assistants
- Strong Python, FastAPI, APIs, microservices, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, EKS/ECS experience
- Exposure to Bedrock Agents / AgentCore, SageMaker, Step Functions, EventBridge, and AWS-native AI services
- Ability to move quickly from discovery → prototype → demo → production
- Comfortable working directly with customer stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and shape the right technical solution
- Strong troubleshooting and integration mindset across enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, and cloud services
- Experience with LLMOps/MLOps, evaluation, guardrails, observability, security, and AI governance
- Strong communication skills — this is a customer-facing engineering role, not a back-room development position
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Work directly with enterprise customers to turn ambiguous business problems into AI solutions
