Software Engineer

About the role

An established financial services company is looking for an experienced software professional to join the team. You will be an integral part of an agile group working to enhance and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products within the payment technology space. The role involves conducting critical technical solutions across multiple business functions to support core objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Execute creative software design, development, and technical troubleshooting for complex problems
• Develop high-quality production code while performing rigorous reviews and debugging for the team
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed
• Utilize the full software development life cycle toolchain to enhance automation and operational stability
• Lead technical evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to refine architectural designs

What we're looking for

• Extensive applied experience in software engineering concepts and system design
• Proficiency in Android development using Kotlin, Java, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose
• Hands-on experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVI
• Technical leadership in using automated testing tools including JUnit, Mockito, and RxJava
• Proven ability to implement AI-assisted development tools while ensuring code security and performance
