Software Engineer

About the role

An established financial services company is looking for a software engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will design and deliver enterprise-scale software with a focus on reliability, performance, and clean engineering practices for global post-trade operations. This role involves building resilient back-end systems and data pipelines to manage high-volume, real-time financial data.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop high-performance back-end systems using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Build microservices and event-driven systems to process large-scale financial data.
• Develop data integration components across Snowflake, SQL Server, and streaming platforms.
• Implement and optimize Redis-based caching for low-latency data access.
• Champion best practices for code quality, testing, automation, and performance tuning.

What we're looking for

• Professional experience in Java development and object-oriented design.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Experience with Redis and distributed event streaming platforms for real-time processing.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, data pipeline concepts, and modern front-end frameworks.
