Software Engineer

About the role

An established financial services company is looking for a software engineer to join the team. This role contributes to the evolution of a modern fintech platform supporting portfolio construction and management. The successful candidate will work across a modern technology stack, leveraging automation and AI-assisted development tools to deliver high-quality solutions in an agile environment.

What you'll be doing

• Own end-to-end feature development across front-end, back-end microservices, and data layers
• Design and develop microservices powering investment portfolio management and indexing solutions
• Build, deploy, and maintain services within a Kubernetes-based cloud environment
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide support for high-availability systems
• Leverage AI coding assistants and workflows to accelerate development and testing

What we're looking for

• Professional experience in a software engineering role, typically three or more years
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals including algorithms and design patterns
• Proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
• Full stack development experience across modern web ecosystems and relational databases
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product teams and end users in an agile setting
