Raytheon is seeking a **Senior Software Engineer - Test Equipment** to join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team in Tucson, Arizona. This role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining software solutions that support engineering and production environments for weapon system products.

The position works within multidisciplinary engineering teams and supports software development across the product lifecycle, including engineering testing, production, and post-production sustainment.

## Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate **object-oriented software applications** using C# and C++.
• Develop software using **Microsoft Visual Studio** in a Windows operating environment.
• Develop applications, software libraries, and instrument drivers according to organizational development standards.
• Design, develop, and implement system-level applications supporting weapon system product development and production.
• Support development of engineering and production equipment, environments, and systems.
• Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.
• Develop and derive software product requirements.
• Prioritize and manage multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.
• Integrate software solutions with engineering and test systems.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering teams across different stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Provide onsite factory support for systems used in weapon system product development and sustainment.

## Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in **Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)** with at least **5 years of relevant experience**, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least **3 years of experience**.
• **5 years of experience** developing and integrating software applications using **C, C#, and C++** in a test environment.
• Experience with at least one of **Java, Python, or Visual Basic**.
• Experience with the **Windows Operating System**.
• Experience with **Microsoft Visual Studio**.
• Experience developing and integrating software in a **test environment**.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a **U.S. Government Secret security clearance** before starting.
• **U.S. citizenship is required** because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
