- About the Opportunity:
The Senior Professional Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software components for Medicaid Data-Driven Initiatives and modernized provider capabilities. This role contributes directly to delivering secure, scalable cloud-native solutions that enhance healthcare program operations and user experiences.
- Responsibilities:
Develop React/TypeScript micro-frontends and .NET 10/C# microservices, serverless services, and contract-first REST APIs.
Build multi-tenant features using tenant isolation, configuration-driven behavior, feature flags, and coordinated API, UX, and schema versioning.
Create PostgreSQL database solutions and AWS workloads utilizing Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, Glue/Spark, MSK/Kafka, and EKS.
Implement REST, event, queue, batch, and managed file-transfer integrations, including SOAP/WCF adapters.
Develop Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, security scanning, deployment, rollback, and environment promotion.
Apply automated testing, observability, secure logging, code review, vulnerability remediation, and production-readiness measures.
- Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years professional software engineering experience.
Proficient in C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript development; experience with React and modern APIs preferred.
Experience with enterprise applications, integrations, or cloud-native services; Medicaid/MMIS/MES experience preferred.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven design, and secure coding practices.
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range for this position is 76,100 - 108,700 per year, with variations based on geography, internal equity, knowledge, skills, and experience.
