Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable software for a revenue cycle management platform.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including scaffolding, code generation, and testing.
• Critically evaluate, debug, and refine AI-generated code and tests against domain requirements and security standards.
• Prototype LLM-assisted features for internal developer productivity and client-facing product capabilities.
• Develop deep domain expertise in claims and revenue cycle management to improve processes.
• Contribute to evolving team practices, including design reviews, agile ceremonies, and code review norms.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in a product development organization.
• Solid backend experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI coding assistants or agentic development tools in a production workflow.
• Genuine motivation to adopt and improve AI-driven workflows, with comfort in prompt iteration and evaluating AI-generated code.
• Ability to critically assess AI output and understand when not to rely on AI.
