Position: Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), Gemini Enterprise
Location: Dallas, TX / Santa Clara, CA / NJ

Role Summary
The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is a hybrid of a Staff Software Engineer and Strategic Consultant. The role focuses on promoting Agentic AI with domain-specific knowledge across FS / RCPG / LSH, Manufacturing, and Technology, driving process automation with Business and IT stakeholders on the Google Cloud AI technology stack.
The FDE will identify Agentic AI use cases, address customer challenges and industry trends, and serve as the technical lead for deploying Gemini Enterprise App and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform within client environments.
Key Responsibilities
Identify customer personas and define Agentic intervention points and Day 1 use cases for Gemini Enterprise.
Design multi-agent systems using Agent Development Kit (ADK), including hierarchical delegation and self-reflection patterns.
Develop production-ready integrations between Gemini agents and legacy APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ERP systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using Vertex AI Search and BigQuery.
Deploy Agent Identity and Agent Gateway protocols to ensure AI actions are auditable, secure, and compliant with regional data residency requirements.
Identify common friction points in the Agent Platform and collaborate with product teams to develop reusable Skills and modules.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Expertise in Gemini 3.0 and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
- Advanced Python skills
- Experience with Go or Java, TypeScript, and REST/gRPC APIs
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Vector Search, and AlloyDB
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and CI/CD for LLMs
