• About the Opportunity:

The Forward Deployed AI Engineer role is central to driving the adoption of advanced AI capabilities within enterprise customer environments. This position involves identifying key business processes for automation, designing and implementing AI-driven solutions, and collaborating closely with customers to deliver measurable business value. The role combines technical expertise with client engagement to accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

• Responsibilities:

Conduct workshops and strategy sessions with executive teams to identify AI opportunities and document project plans

Utilize AI capabilities including AI Studio, agentic workflows, and MCP server orchestration

Collaborate with customer data teams to assess data quality and transformation needs

Design intelligent prompts and develop AI agents and solutions

Set up and maintain scalable integration runtime environments

Design and manage APIs with attention to best practices in security and governance

Co-build solutions alongside customers and partners, sharing best practices

Develop proofs-of-concept and minimum viable products rapidly

Perform end-to-end testing and validation of AI solutions

Ensure adherence to performance, security, and governance standards

Provide go-live support, ongoing advisory services, and knowledge transfer

Educate customers on platform capabilities

Mentor junior developers and participate in design reviews

• Requirements:

Strong problem-solving skills for complex AI and integration challenges

Excellent communication skills across technical and executive stakeholders

Client-facing professionalism with leadership in discussions and training

Self-driven with ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Business acumen and sound decision-making abilities

Expertise in prompt engineering, LLM models, API integration, and management

Knowledge of API lifecycle, versioning, security, and governance

Experience with ERP systems integration and cloud/SaaS platforms

Proficiency in data transformation and middleware/iPaaS architectures

Experience with AI/LLM service integration and agentic orchestration

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical fields

7+ years of experience including technical consulting and client engagement

3+ years of AI development experience with production deployments

Familiarity with relevant technologies such as Node.js, SOAP/REST, JSON, XML, SQL

• Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The organization reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $145,000 and $160,000 per year for this position. Actual starting pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in formal employment offers.
