Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare company, is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join their team! The Associate Data Scientist will play a crucial role in supporting the senior data science team by handling operational analytics and responding to ad hoc business questions. This position is designed for growth, with opportunities to engage in machine learning projects, AI initiatives, and data science model development. The ideal candidate will help reduce the workload on senior data scientists, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
Approximately 1–3 years of experience
Strong SQL skills and analytical mindset
Experience solving business problems with data
Exposure to Data Science or Machine Learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Power BI experience
Exposure to Data Science
Machine Learning knowledge or interest
Statistical background
Industry experience in Healthcare, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Payer analytics, M&A analytics
