We are sourcing a Software Engineer to work at our client's location in Smithfield, RI.
Local Rhode Island candidates are preferred.
Strong non-local candidates may be considered if willing to relocate prior to the start date.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience building enterprise full-stack applications.
Strong experience with Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
This is approximately a 75/25 Angular-heavy Full Stack role.
Strong front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) from scratch and developing reusable Angular components.
Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, database design, and software engineering fundamentals.
Experience with REST patterns, OAuth, Swagger/OpenAPI, and service-oriented architectures.
Experience with service transformation, routing, orchestration, and integration frameworks such as Apache Camel.
Experience developing and supporting Java/J2EE applications using Tomcat and related technologies.
Understanding of Microservice architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with Azure Cloud technologies and containerized deployments.
Experience with Git, Maven, Jira, and modern CI/CD practices.
=Knowledge of data structures including Binary Trees, Binary Search Trees, Graphs, and tree traversal algorithms.
Strong communication skills and the ability to onboard quickly and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise full-stack applications with a focus on Angular front-end and Java back-end services.
- Collaborate on microservice architecture, database design, and CI/CD integration to support robust software solutions.
Qualifications
