📍 Location: San Jose, CA

💼 Contract: 12 Months

💰 Pay Rate: $40–$80/hour on W2

🏢 Work Arrangement: Onsite

We are looking for a strong Software Development Engineer 3 with solid C/C++ programming and low-level software experience to support next-generation GPU and graphics technologies.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working close to hardware, solving complex software problems, developing production-quality code, and working on GPU/graphics technologies.

What You'll Work On

• Enhance and maintain sophisticated production-level graphics drivers
• Develop and implement features within GPU-specific driver software
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Validate GPU features for new hardware generations
• Develop clean, maintainable and well-tested production-quality software
• Analyze and optimize software performance
• Work with complex software systems and architectures
• Apply strong debugging, data structures and algorithmic problem-solving skills

What We're Looking For

🔹 Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

🔹 5–7+ years of software engineering experience

🔹 Strong C/C++ programming

🔹 Python, Perl and/or Shell scripting experience

🔹 Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

🔹 Excellent software debugging and problem-solving skills

🔹 Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

🔹 Experience with device drivers or low-level programming

🔹 Experience with GPU hardware/software or graphics technologies

🔹 Knowledge of one or more of:

OpenCL, CUDA, OpenGL, DirectX, Direct3D/D3D

🔹 Understanding of GPU and CPU architectures

🔹 Experience with parallel and asynchronous processing

🔹 Knowledge of software performance analysis, optimization and low-level programming

🔹 Experience with 3D graphics is highly desirable
