Title: Senior AI Engineer
Salary: $150,000 – 175,000 +Bonus
Location: Remote
We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a growing AI team that is building and expanding enterprise AI solutions used across multiple business units throughout North America.
You'll spend time designing solutions, writing code, reviewing architecture, mentoring engineers, and helping drive the direction of the AI platform. If you're looking for a position where you can still be deeply involved in engineering while taking on more leadership and architectural responsibility, this could be a great fit.
The team is building AI-powered applications, intelligent automation solutions, RAG-based systems, agentic workflows, and integrations with enterprise platforms. The work is real, production-focused, and highly visible within the organization.
What You'll Be Working On
Designing and building AI solutions that solve business problems at scale
Developing RAG pipelines, AI assistants, and agent-based applications
Integrating LLMs with internal systems and business applications
Building APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI
Working within Microsoft Azure to deploy, secure, and manage AI solutions
Helping establish engineering standards, code quality practices, and architectural guidelines
Reviewing code and mentoring other developers on the team
Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate new use cases and solutions
What We're Looking For
6+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years working with AI, machine learning, or enterprise AI solutions
Strong Python development experience
Experience building and deploying AI applications in Azure
Experience with RAG architectures, vector search, and LLM integrations
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent frameworks
Ability to lead technical discussions and guide other engineers
Strong understanding of architecture, scalability, security, and maintainability
Nice to Have / Learning Opportunity
Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Node.js experience
CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code experience
Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SAP, SharePoint, or Confluence
Responsibilities
