About The Role
We are seeking talented Software Engineers to join our dynamic, cross-functional team. This role supports remote work for US-based candidates or can be based in our Palo Alto, CA office with a hybrid in-office setup. As a core member of the Frontend team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing new products and features that enhance our client experience and support our business growth. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, mobile developers, designers, and product managers to build innovative, scalable, and high-performance web applications. Your work will involve leveraging our in-house Design System components to create engaging user interfaces, optimizing web platform infrastructure for better performance, and improving developer productivity through automation and best practices. Additionally, you will contribute to operational troubleshooting, participate in recruiting efforts, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to have a tangible impact on our products and clients while working in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in a web-focused engineering role
Deep understanding of JavaScript, including ES5+ standards and native DOM APIs
Proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
Experience with server-side frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Express, or Django (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong skills in building custom pages and components with a focus on page speed and responsiveness
Knowledge of CSS, including writing custom styles for responsive designs
Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Passion for projects with measurable business impact and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to develop new features and enhance existing ones
Build and maintain client-facing web applications leveraging our Design System components
Optimize web platform infrastructure to improve system health, performance, and delivery velocity
Participate in troubleshooting operational issues to ensure smooth functioning of mission-critical web services
Contribute to recruiting activities, including interviewing potential candidates
Mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and integration into the team
Engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes
