Want to build WiFi technology that will sit at the heart of the next generation of connected vehicles?
We're looking for an experienced WiFi Software Engineer to join a highly respected engineering team developing connectivity software for a major next-generation automotive platform.
You'll work on the technology behind vehicle connectivity, over-the-air updates, WiFi hotspots, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and advanced connected-vehicle features.
What you'll be doing
Developing embedded WiFi software using modern C++
Building and improving WiFi Station and Access Point functionality
Working on connectivity, roaming and network selection
Integrating WiFi chipsets, drivers and firmware
Debugging complex connectivity issues using packet captures and system logs
Working alongside talented embedded, hardware and platform engineers
What we're looking for
Strong C++ development experience
Commercial WiFi / IEEE 802.11 experience
Embedded Linux or similar low-level systems experience
Good understanding of TCP/IP networking
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with WiFi drivers/firmware, wpa_supplicant, hostapd, Wireshark, Qualcomm, Android or automotive systems would be a bonus.
