Forward Deployed Engineer (3+ Years of Experience)

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with strong software and data engineering fundamentals to work closely with customers and the product/engineering team to build and deploy solutions for complex, real-world business problems.

This is an opportunity for engineers who enjoy combining technical execution, large-scale data systems, customer-facing problem solving, and high ownership.

You'll work across product, engineering, and customer environments to understand challenges, build tailored solutions, and help turn those solutions into scalable product capabilities.

What You'll Do

Work directly with customers to understand complex technical and business requirements.

Build and deploy production-grade solutions tailored to customer workflows.

Design and build data pipelines, integrations, automations, APIs, and product capabilities.

Work with large-scale data systems and data warehouses to support customer use cases.

Design and implement medallion architectures and robust data processing workflows.

Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into scalable features.

Debug technical issues and drive solutions from problem discovery through production deployment.

Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Identify recurring customer needs and help turn them into reusable product capabilities.

Take end-to-end ownership of projects while balancing customer needs, technical quality, and delivery timelines.

You're a Great Fit If You

Have 3+ years of professional software or data engineering experience after your last degree.

Have strong software engineering, data engineering, and problem-solving fundamentals.

Have hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines at scale.

Have experience working with medallion architectures across one or more modern data warehouses.

Are comfortable building, debugging, and deploying production data systems.

Have experience working with APIs, integrations, distributed systems, or large-scale data processing.

Enjoy working directly with customers and translating ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.

Can work effectively across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

Thrive in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership and ambiguity.

Demonstrate strong communication and technical judgment.

Can independently take a problem from discovery to production.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience in a Forward Deployed, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing engineering role.

Experience working across multiple data warehouses or cloud data platforms.

Experience building and operating high-volume data pipelines.

Experience with AI/ML or AI-powered products.

Startup experience with significant ownership and autonomy.

Experience working closely with enterprise customers.

Experience turning customer-specific data solutions into scalable product features.
