About the Role
We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect AI Agent solutions and mentor other AI Engineers. This is an architect-focused position rather than a hands-on developer role, with responsibility for designing enterprise AI solutions, guiding engineering teams, and translating complex AI concepts for business and executive audiences.
Key Responsibilities
AI Architecture & Solution Design
Architect AI Agent solutions for enterprise environments
Design and deploy solutions using Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI Service
Apply agentic AI patterns including multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory, and planning
Integrate AI solutions with ERP and enterprise data systems through REST APIs and OData
Technical Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor and develop early-career AI Engineers
Provide technical guidance on AI/ML engineering and enterprise AI solution delivery
Support cross-organizational AI governance and Center of Excellence activities
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
Translate complex AI concepts into clear business and technical recommendations
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and executive audiences
Support enterprise technology initiatives across finance, accounting, supply chain, and other business domains
Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years focused on AI/ML engineering or enterprise AI solution delivery
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying solutions on Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI Service
Strong understanding of agentic AI patterns, including multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory, and planning
Demonstrated experience mentoring and growing early-career engineers
Experience integrating AI solutions with ERP or enterprise data systems via REST APIs and OData
Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development and automation
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex AI concepts to business stakeholders and executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar enterprise ERP platforms
Familiarity with Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF), or LangChain
Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience operating in or contributing to a Center of Excellence or similar cross-organizational governance body
Background in enterprise finance, accounting, or supply chain technology domains
Experience directing vendor or offshore delivery capacity
Compensation
$65 to $75/hr W2 MAX
Weston, FL – Ideally Hybrid; Remote Open
6+ Month Contract
