Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products or features, including cloud-based tools. Collaborate with teams across UiPath to design and engineer areas of our product and services. Ensure technical deliverables meet customer expectations, and all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, testability, etc. Help establish effective and agile engineering practices. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Plan feature development, design system components, and build engineering roadmap. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or equivalent in Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field. One (1) year of experience in software development or engineering field. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience in software development or engineering field in lieu of a Master's degree or equivalent and one (1) year of experience as described above. Work experience to include: One (1) year of experience writing production-level code in at least one of the following high-level programming languages: C#, C, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript; One (1) year of experience designing and implementing concurrent and asynchronous programming constructs in production codebases, including multithreading, synchronization primitives (locks, semaphores, or mutexes), and asynchronous patterns (async/await, Tasks, Promises, or callbacks), including identifying and resolving deadlocks, race conditions, and thread safety violations; One (1) year of experience building and maintaining distributed systems that expose or consume HTTP/REST APIs or gRPC endpoints, incorporating fault tolerance mechanisms and observability instrumentation; One (1) year of experience selecting and applying fundamental data structures and algorithms (including arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, hash tables, and sorting and searching algorithms) with Big-O complexity analysis applied to evaluate time and space efficiency trade-offs during software design and code review; One (1) year of experience implementing software solutions using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and architectural design patterns (including SOLID principles, MVC, Factory, Singleton, Observer, Repository, and Dependency Injection) within production-grade systems; One (1) year of experience deploying and operating applications on at least one of the following major cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); One (1) year of experience utilizing at least two of the following managed services: serverless compute (Azure Functions or AWS Lambda), container orchestration (AKS or EKS), object storage (Azure Blob Storage or S3), or managed application hosting (App Services or Elastic Beanstalk), integrated within CI/CD pipelines; One (1) year of experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker, including authoring Dockerfiles, managing container images, and integrating containers into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins; One (1) year of experience using Git for version control, including branching strategies (Git Flow or trunk-based development), pull request workflows, and resolving merge conflicts within a collaborative team environment; One (1) year of experience designing or consuming relational or non-relational database systems (including Azure Cosmos DB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB), including schema design, query optimization, and integration with application-layer ORM or data access libraries. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. This job allows for a hybrid work arrangement. Candidate may work remotely two (2) days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to office at 700 Bellevue Way NE, Suite 2000, Bellevue, WA 98004.

Salary Range: $143,104/yr. - $184,500/yr.

Base salary ranges may vary by location & relevant exp, education, certifications & seniority. There is no guarantee an offer will be at top of posted range.
