Software Engineer

About the role

A large professional services and data analytics business is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will focus on designing, building, and supporting modern, scalable software solutions within a collaborative engineering environment. You will be responsible for full-stack development, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle from initial design to production support.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performing, and reliable full-stack applications.

Build and enhance microservices-based architectures using modern backend frameworks and RESTful APIs.

Develop responsive front-end applications and create clear, reusable API interfaces with technical documentation.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including system design, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.

What We're Looking For

Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.

Proven experience building front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript.

Practical experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development concepts.

Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and SQL or NoSQL databases.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
