Senior Software Engineer Location: New York City or San Francisco · Hybrid Compensation: $205,000–$225,000 base salary plus equity Openings: 12 Join a technology platform building production systems that serve millions of borrowers and financial partners.

Several teams are hiring Senior Software Engineers who can own complex problems from design through launch and help shape architecture, product direction, and engineering practices. What you’ll do

Design, build, and maintain scalable production systems.

Influence technical architecture and the engineering roadmap.

Improve code quality, development practices, and team processes.

Mentor engineers and work closely with Product, Design, and Operations.

Openings span Borrower Acquisition, Borrower Activation, Compliance and Money Operations, Consumer Conversation, and Client Experience. The Consumer Conversation team is especially interested in experience with LLMs, generative AI, or AI agents.

The Client Experience team values data integration work and experience collaborating directly with clients or nontechnical teams. What you’ll bring

At least five years of professional software development experience and a Computer Science degree.

Strong engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems at scale.

Experience with Python, React, Postgres, AWS, or comparable technologies.

Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to own technical work end to end.

Startup or founding team experience, engineering experience at a large technology company, rapid growth in responsibility, and entrepreneurial projects are valued. Please highlight any production-scale engineering, startup or Big Tech, AI/LLM, or client and data integration experience in your application.

Location and work authorization Candidates must currently live in the United States and be able to work in a hybrid role in New York City or San Francisco. Relocation support is available for candidates who can relocate within 60 days. H-1B transfers and TN status are supported; new H-1B sponsorship is not available.
