About The Role

We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer to design, build, and scale critical enterprise software integrations across our core business systems—specifically connecting our Google Cloud / Workspace infrastructure with platform solutions like Workday. In this role, you will lead full-stack development initiatives, drive architecture decisions, and ensure high reliability across critical data flows and workflow integrations.

Role Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (2–3 days/week in-office)

Office Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Fort Lauderdale office)

What You’ll Do

Software Design & Engineering

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance scalable software solutions and API integrations connecting Workday with internal Google services and third-party systems.

Project & Priority Management

Apply technical expertise to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while aligning engineering efforts with broader organizational goals.

Architecture & Design Reviews

Lead and participate in technical design reviews with cross-functional peers and business stakeholders to evaluate trade-offs and select optimal technology stacks.

Code Quality & Governance

Review code written by team members, providing construct feedback to ensure adherence to best practices in accuracy, testability, security, style guidelines, and execution efficiency.

System Operations & Support

Triage, debug, and resolve complex product or system issues by analyzing underlying causes across services, APIs, networks, and data pipelines to maintain peak operational quality.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

Author and maintain technical documentation, system guides, and developer resources, adapting content continuously based on product updates and platform feedback.

What You’ll Need

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Core Development

5+ years of professional software development experience using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript), with strong foundations in data structures and algorithms.

Engineering Lifecycle

3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, and launching production software products.

System Architecture

1+ year of experience in software design and end-to-end architecture.

Ecosystem Expertise

Hands-on experience developing within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace APIs, or Google Apps Script.

Integration Experience

Proven track record building enterprise integrations with modern SaaS HRIS/Finance platforms (specifically Workday APIs, Web Services, REST, or Workday Studio).

Leadership & Versatility

Strong track record of technical leadership, full-stack problem-solving, and a proactive approach to tackling complex engineering challenges.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience developing within Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace APIs
  • Proven track record building enterprise integrations with modern SaaS HRIS/Finance platforms
