About the Role
We’re hiring an Applied AI Engineer to build AI products for complex financial workflows. You’ll work across LLMs, retrieval, agents, and evaluation, with the opportunity to take ideas from research and customer feedback through to production.
What You’ll Do:
Build and deploy AI agents and retrieval systems that understand financial context
Extract and synthesize insights from PDFs, emails, presentations, and other unstructured sources
Develop knowledge graphs that capture financial relationships, entities, and market dynamics
Create evaluation frameworks for investment research, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring use cases
Improve traceability between AI outputs and their primary sources
Test new approaches to LLM orchestration, context management, and retrieval
Own production systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability
What You’ll Bring:
3+ years of experience in machine learning, AI research, or applied AI engineering
Experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, embeddings, and AI evaluation
Interest or experience in financial markets, investment processes, or quantitative finance
Ability to turn AI research into useful products
Full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Python, Node, or similar technologies is a plus

Responsibilities
