Software Engineer (Mid to Staff+)
Onsite 5 days/week - San Francisco, CA
Base $225k - $425k + Equity

Founded by a repeat founder with a major prior exit, the company is building an AI platform that takes real ownership of work across enterprise tools and systems - not just answers questions. One of the highest-ARR companies in their YC batch, with year-to-date growth exceeding 1000% and a recent round above their $175M Series A valuation.
They’re hiring strong engineers from mid-level to Staff+ across three areas: product, platform, and AI infrastructure. These are broad, hands-on IC roles - everyone builds and ships. The team is 12 people, the problems are genuinely hard, and the equity is real.
What You Could Work On
Product - user-facing experiences across web and mobile; interactions for delegating work to agents, following progress, and handling uncertainty; features owned end-to-end
Platform - backend APIs, identity, workspaces, billing, payments, analytics; connector, authentication, webhook, and automation infrastructure for third-party integrations
AI Infrastructure - agent harness, orchestration, tool execution, state, evaluation, and failure recovery; context management, memory, storage, and sandboxed execution; model routing and serving, Kubernetes, networking, queues, and cloud infrastructure
Requirements
2-15 years shipping production TypeScript full-stack, with backend and infra ownership
TypeScript in production across a Node backend and React frontend
Hands-on with GCP and Docker - owns their own deploys, debugs at the container/Linux level
Strong CS fundamentals - reasons from first principles, forms clear mental models
Eager to be an IC and write code every day - and has done so recently
Uses AI deeply in their own work - follows the field closely and has formed their own views
Must be willing to work onsite in SF 5 days/week

Qualifications
- 2-15 years of production experience with TypeScript full-stack
- Hands-on experience with GCP and Docker
- Strong CS fundamentals and ability to reason from first principles
