The Role
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks, orchestration platforms, and CI/CD-integrated tooling for integration testing in lab environments.
- Architect, design, and validate software tooling, including test algorithms, scripts, and data visualization, for complex hardware systems.
- Define and drive tooling best practices across the engineering organization, establishing patterns for automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Analyze test data and collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate product performance and provide feedback.
- Manage and drive to closure test anomalies, defects, and bugs, performing root-cause analysis and implementing continuous improvements.
- Operate independently to identify gaps in test infrastructure, propose solutions, and drive implementation with minimal direction.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns and reliability.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
