About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer I contributes to the development of the next-generation Practice Management platform. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while modernizing the platform and supporting critical backend services. The position contributes to the organization’s growth by enabling efficient, reliable, and innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications using Spring Boot, Java, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to develop solutions aligned with business needs.
• Maintain and improve critical backend services that support product functionality and engineering efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain software quality and engineering standards.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Research and apply emerging technologies and software development best practices.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve the software development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 0–1 years of professional software development experience; internship experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for coding and solving technical problems.
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop.
• Interest or experience in AI-focused development, including LLM APIs or AI-assisted development tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Spring Framework, version control systems, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Python and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Zone 1 (National Average) salary range: $80,500–$92,000 USD annually.
• Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, role requirements, and geographic location.
• Eligible employees may participate in variable pay programs.
