About the Opportunity:
The SOFTWARE ENGINEER II is responsible for the full lifecycle development and support of software products that facilitate healthcare revenue cycle operations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software solutions by adhering to technical standards and collaborating with various teams. The position contributes by enhancing and maintaining applications critical to the organization's healthcare payment processes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze technical requirements and follow software designs for development, debugging, documentation, and testing
Develop, modify, and implement software applications
Support and maintain existing software
Participate in testing to ensure software quality and performance
Perform maintenance, feature development, quality assurance, documentation, and infrastructure tasks
Contribute to establishing and enforcing development best practices and technical standards
Complete assigned projects and tasks
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
2 to 4 years of professional software development experience
Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, Angular, and jQuery
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with sound judgment
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile or Scrum methodologies
Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration tools
Experience in healthcare or software supporting healthcare organizations
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
$85,000 to $115,000 depending on qualifications
