Software Engineer — Full-Stack Product

About the role

Swiss Nexus is recruiting Software Engineers for a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B software company in New York.

The company is building an AI-powered platform that automates complex data migrations between business software systems. Its technology handles the extraction, cleaning and transfer of customer data, replacing processes that traditionally required weeks of manual work.

The engineering team is deliberately small and senior. Engineers work directly with customers, help determine what should be built and own the result from the initial product decision through production.

The role

This is a genuinely full-stack position for a product-minded engineer who wants broad ownership. You will work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, performance and security rather than being limited to one part of the stack.

The company has recently rebuilt its architecture to support significantly larger data-movement workloads. There is now a substantial range of product, workflow, durability, security and infrastructure problems to solve.

What you’ll do

Own features from initial customer problem through design, implementation and production

Build across frontend, backend and infrastructure

Work directly with customers to understand their workflows and identify product opportunities

Help shape the product roadmap alongside the founders and engineering team

Build reliable systems for large-scale data extraction, transformation and movement

Improve platform durability, performance and security

Work extensively with AI and agentic development tools while remaining accountable for everything shipped

Contribute to technical decisions and engineering standards as the team grows

What we’re looking for

At least four to five years of professional software-engineering experience; most successful candidates will have closer to six to eight years

Genuine full-stack ability and confidence owning an entire product area independently

A strong record of shipping production software and taking responsibility for the outcome

Product judgment and an interest in understanding customers, not only implementing specifications

Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with high levels of ownership

Proficiency with the current stack or the ability to learn it quickly:

React, Tailwind and TypeScript

Remix and TypeScript on the backend

AWS and Cloudflare

Particularly relevant experience

Large-scale data movement or migration systems

Integrations with CRMs, ERPs, ATSs or other systems of record

Workflow orchestration and reliability

AI agents, browser automation or computer-use systems

Experience in an early-stage startup

Technical leadership or the potential to grow into a team-lead position

Location

This position is based in New York City and requires working from the office five days per week. Fully remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
