Full-Stack Software Engineer (API/AI/Automation Focus)

We’re hiring a hands-on Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and improve an AI-powered software platform that helps businesses strengthen their digital presence and automate growth workflows.

You will work across frontend and backend systems to deliver polished customer-facing features, dependable APIs, AI-assisted experiences, and reliable automation. This is a product-minded role for someone who enjoys owning a feature from technical design through testing, release, monitoring, and iteration.

In your first several months, you will:

Ship meaningful, customer-facing features across web, AI, automation, and dashboard experiences.

Build reliable, well-documented APIs and background workflows.

Improve AI-powered features with evaluation, safeguards, structured outputs, and sensible fallback behavior.

Raise release confidence through strong unit, integration, API, and end-to-end test coverage.

Improve workflow reliability through better error handling, retries, monitoring, and auditability.

Help turn complex capabilities into simple, intuitive, accessible customer experiences.

This role sits at the intersection of product engineering, platform engineering, and applied AI. You will collaborate closely with product and design to build the foundational systems and polished interfaces that enable the company to launch new capabilities quickly, safely, and reliably.

You will have meaningful ownership over both what customers see and the technical systems that make those experiences work.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain full-stack features—from responsive user interfaces to backend services, APIs, and data models.

Build intuitive, accessible web experiences for dashboards, onboarding, workflow configuration, content review, and product settings.

Develop versioned, well-documented APIs that support customer-facing features, internal services, and external integrations.

Build resilient asynchronous workflows for AI tasks, data processing, website publishing, content generation, analytics, and other automation use cases.

Integrate AI models and services into production workflows, including prompt design, structured outputs, quality evaluation, safeguards, retries, and cost/performance monitoring.

Design automation systems with idempotency, queueing, rate-limit handling, retry policies, audit logs, and actionable failure states.

Write and maintain unit, integration, API-contract, and end-to-end tests for new and existing functionality.

Improve development and release quality through code review, CI checks, feature flags, regression testing, and production monitoring.

Apply secure-by-default practices, including authentication and authorization controls, input validation, secure secrets handling, dependency hygiene, and safe treatment of customer data.

Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, traces, and reproducible test cases.

Collaborate with product and design teammates to turn customer needs into clear technical requirements and incremental releases.

Contribute to architecture, technical documentation, engineering standards, and an inclusive, high-ownership team culture.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping web applications, SaaS products, or platform services.

Strong experience with modern frontend development, such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, or comparable technologies.

Strong backend and API-development experience with Node.js, Python, or a comparable server-side stack.

Experience designing RESTful APIs, working with relational databases, and modeling reliable application data.

Experience building or maintaining background jobs, queues, workflow orchestration, or event-driven systems.

Practical experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into production software, with attention to quality, latency, cost, safety, and failure handling.

Strong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. API-contract testing experience is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI/CD, observability, and secure application-development practices.

Experience building polished, responsive, and accessible user interfaces with strong attention to usability.

Familiarity with secure API design, role-based access control, OWASP-aware development, and protection of sensitive data.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.

A collaborative, curious, and accountable working style with a bias toward practical, maintainable solutions.

Nice to Have

Experience with automation platforms, workflow engines, job queues, caching, or feature-flag systems.

Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture or third-party integrations.

Experience evaluating AI output quality or building internal tools for AI-assisted workflows.

Experience with analytics, SEO, website publishing, content systems, or business-growth software.

Experience improving engineering quality systems within a fast-moving product environment.
