They're looking for Forward Deployed Engineers who want significantly more ownership than a traditional software engineering role.
The role sits at the intersection of:
Software Engineering + Product + Customer Engineering
The Role
You'll work directly with customers to understand complex technical challenges, build production software to solve them, and help turn successful solutions into scalable product features.
You'll:
Own production software from initial deployment through long-term development.
Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements.
Translate ambiguous problems into robust engineering solutions.
Build across the stack using technologies such as Python, Java, Rust, React, and TypeScript.
Take projects from 0 to 1 and help turn them into repeatable product capabilities.
Travel approximately 25–30%, primarily for short customer engagements.
What We're Looking For
2–9+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong track record of shipping production software.
Excellent coding ability in any modern programming language.
Comfortable working across the stack.
Experience in a startup or other highly autonomous environment.
Experience taking projects from conception through production.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Ability to translate customer problems into technical solutions.
