Job Title: Front-End Software Engineer
Job Description
Lead the implementation of key front-end software technologies for an innovative digital construction software platform. Serve as a trusted expert in technical aspects, industry trends, and best practices, implementing these solutions within the organization. Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web-based components and libraries for a suite of applications. Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the Design System and implement new workflows. Contribute to the technical growth of the organization through education and mentorship, and work closely with application and backend engineers to manage data relationships and rendering processes.
Responsibilities

Act as a technical expert on business-critical problems and industry trends.
Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web components and libraries.
Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the Design System.
Educate and mentor to grow the organization's technical competencies.
Work with application and backend engineers to manage data and rendering.
Essential Skills
Full stack engineering
TypeScript with a primary focus
3-5 years of experience in modern web application development
Experience in shipping production software with real companies
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Node.js, backend concepts, APIs, and databases
Experience with React, Redux, RxJS, CAD, and AWS Lambda
Understanding of component libraries, design systems, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
Experience in mobile development with Flutter or React Native
3D visualization experience and familiarity with CAD tools
Experience with graphics-heavy applications
Ability to discuss backend concepts intelligently
Coachability and eagerness to learn
Ability to collaborate effectively in teams of 5-8+ engineers
Experience working with Product and Design teams
Adaptability and comfort in startup-style environments
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
