ML Engineer – AI Training & Model Evaluation
Experience: 3–8 Years
Job Type: Contractor (~15 hours/week)
Location: Global – Fully Remote
Compensation: $100–$150/hour
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Machine Learning Engineers/Experts to contribute to AI training projects involving model development, training and inference systems, numerical computing, performance optimization, and AI-generated code evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate ML models, training pipelines, and inference systems.
Build data pipelines, model components, and evaluation workflows.
Work with Python, tensor operations, model architectures, tokenization, batching, and generation.
Optimize models for latency, throughput, memory usage, and hardware utilization.
Debug numerical issues, memory bottlenecks, distributed-system failures, and performance problems.
Review AI-generated code and ML solutions for correctness and efficiency.
Key Requirements
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, AI, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Strong professional or research experience in Machine Learning.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with at least two modern ML frameworks/tools.
Strong understanding of model training, evaluation, numerical computation, or inference.
