We're partnering with a Greylock-incubated AI cybersecurity startup building the infrastructure to secure and control enterprise AI. As companies deploy more AI models and autonomous agents, the company gives security and IT teams visibility into AI activity, access, usage, and costs—while enabling them to detect and stop risky actions in real time. The company is building a new category at the intersection of AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise software, with early adoption from major financial and technology organizations.

About the Role
You'll join as a Founding Engineer, owning critical product and infrastructure initiatives end-to-end. You'll build the systems that ingest enterprise AI telemetry, develop real-time detection and policy enforcement capabilities, work directly with customers during deployments, and help define the company's technical direction.
Qualifications
0–5+ years of software engineering experience, including exceptional internship experience.
Strong backend and systems engineering fundamentals, particularly distributed systems or infrastructure.
Experience at a startup or technology company known for high-caliber engineering talent.
Strong preference for backgrounds from companies such as Ramp, Databricks, Stripe, Modal, Cursor, Jane Street, Citadel, Palantir, Anduril, SpaceX, Wiz, or Vanta.
Top-20 CS program or equivalent preferred.
Experience with Go/Rust, applied ML, security engineering, red-teaming, or adversarial ML is a strong plus.
Competitive programming experience such as IMO, IOI, USACO, or Putnam is a plus.
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $250K–$400K
Equity: Up to 1%
Location: San Francisco, CA
Work Model: 100% Onsite
