Staff Machine Learning Engineer

We're looking for a Staff Level Machine Learning Engineer build large-scale systems that make a real-world impact?

Our client — a fast-growing AI company revolutionising healthcare — is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of production-grade ML systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to design and deliver scalable ML solutions.

Mentor and guide other engineers, setting standards and shaping the company’s ML engineering practices.

Architect robust systems that support high-volume batch and real-time inference.

Develop APIs, feature stores, and automation tooling to accelerate ML experimentation and deployment.

Build and maintain pipelines for data ingestion, training, evaluation, and model serving.

Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability frameworks to ensure production-grade performance.

Optimise performance across the ML stack — balancing latency, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements:

Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.

Strong programming background in Python, Go, C++, or Java.

Experience with distributed training, data pipelines, and real-time inference systems.

Sound understanding of ML concepts, particularly in computer vision or large language models (LLMs).

Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker).
