We are looking for a Software Engineer with a healthy knowledge or interest in

will pioneer next-generation designs by carrying out workload analysis, building

prototypes, running experiments, and helping innovative ideas reach production

alongside key technical leaders and stakeholders.

you will expand your capabilities in Analytics, Modeling, and AI to deliver

  • Build a deep understanding of Google’s Infrastructure Storage System and how

its components perform optimally using defined metrics, insightful

statistics, and explanatory models.

  • Characterize inefficient behaviors and irregular anomalies and identify the

causes of such behaviors.

  • Propose deployment efficiency improvements to the design architecture, system

monitoring, resource provisioning, and production operations policies.

  • Engage in research with leading academic institutions and industrial vendors

and thus provide guidance to storage engineering functions.
