• About the Opportunity:

The Sr. Software Engineer is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable software solutions within a defined scope. This role emphasizes strong execution, sound technical decision-making, and supporting the delivery of high-quality software that meets product and business requirements. It contributes to modernization and quality improvements through hands-on development and technical leadership, ensuring consistency, code quality, and efficient delivery.

• Responsibilities:

Design and implement features and services within the platform using established architectural patterns, focusing on Prospective Intelligence data processing pipelines.

Develop and maintain data pipelines for seamless ingestion and transformation of data across various sources.

Write high-quality, maintainable code and take ownership of systems within the assigned domain.

Enhance system reliability, performance, and security through disciplined engineering practices.

Participate in design discussions offering input and recommendations within scope.

Review code, share best practices, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver agreed outcomes.

• Requirements:

Strong experience in data processing, warehousing, tools, and techniques.

Proficiency in Python, AWS Lambdas, and Java.

Experience integrating AI tools such as Claude Code to improve workflow velocity.

Over 5 years designing scalable, distributed systems and cloud-based architecture.

Proven track record of owning and contributing to complex technical initiatives from concept to deployment.

Strong technical judgment and ability to influence engineering decisions without formal authority.

Demonstrated mentoring ability to elevate team quality through standards and coaching.

High standards for reliability, security, and maintainability paired with a bias for action.
