Role Description As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer (Intern) at CR Equity Ai, Inc., you will support the design, development, and testing of AI models that enhance our funding and underwriting processes. You will assist with building and refining pattern recognition algorithms and neural network architectures to improve loan approvals, risk assessment, and lender matching. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with senior engineers on prototyping features, implementing and optimizing machine learning models, and contributing to NLP-based tools that automate document review and data extraction. You will help integrate AI components into production-grade software systems and participate in code reviews and technical documentation. This is a remote, contract role, offering exposure to real-world fintech applications and AI-driven automation.
Qualifications
Min 1 year experience
Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science with practical experience in Software Development for AI or data-driven applications.
Ability to design, implement, and evaluate Neural Networks and other machine learning models for Pattern Recognition tasks.
Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools for text analysis, document understanding, and automation.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python) and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic statistics relevant to machine learning and model evaluation.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate within distributed teams.
Interest in financial technology, lending, or real estate domains; prior project or internship experience in fintech or AI applications is a plus.
