About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting remote work in the United States or hybrid work from our Palo Alto, CA office. As a vital member of the frontend development team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to build innovative features that enhance our client experience. Your work will involve designing and developing new products and features, improving our web platform infrastructure, and optimizing system performance to ensure seamless operation across various devices and screen sizes. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting operational issues, participating in infrastructure projects to boost system health, and mentoring fellow engineers. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by working on projects that directly influence business growth and client satisfaction in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in a web-focused engineering role

Deep understanding of JavaScript, including ES5+ and native DOM APIs

Proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)

Experience with server-side frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Express, or Django is a plus

Strong skills in building custom pages and components with a focus on performance and responsiveness

Knowledge of CSS, including writing custom styles for responsiveness across devices

Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Passion for working on impactful projects within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

Collaborate with backend, mobile, design, and product teams to develop new features and enhance existing ones

Build and maintain client-facing web features leveraging in-house Design System components

Triaging and resolving operational issues to ensure mission-critical web systems operate smoothly

Participate in infrastructure projects aimed at improving system health, performance, and delivery velocity

Contribute to recruiting efforts by participating in candidate interviews

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers within the team

Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment processes
